The Indonesian Men's National Volleyball Team Gets the Highest FIVB Ranking in ASEAN.

The Indonesian men's national volleyball team rose five places and is now ranked 52nd in the world based on the latest update from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) on Wednesday (3/1/2024) with 61.27 points.

With this increase in ranking, Indonesia is now the Southeast Asian country with the highest FIVB ranking, which occupies two levels above Vietnam which occupies 54th position, then followed by the Philippines in 57th position, and Thailand in 64th position. Which are the four Southeast Asian countries that managed to enter the top 85 rankings in the FIVB.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian women's national volleyball team is also experiencing improvement. They rose four places to 55th position with 47.97 points. And for the Southeast Asia region, the Indonesian women's national volleyball team is below Thailand (13th) and Vietnam (39th).

Meanwhile in Asia, Indonesia sits in eighth position behind China (6), Japan (9), Thailand (13), Kazakhstan (32), Vietnam (39), South Korea (40), and Taiwan (44). All teams can get points and improve their rankings through official competitions such as the Olympics, Volleyball Nations League (VNL), World Championships, Volleyball Challenger Cup, and Continental Championships.
