JAVA Jazz Festival (JJF) 2024 will hold its 19th jazz festival at JIEXpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from May 24 to May 26, 2024. This happy news was conveyed through the festival's official Instagram account, @javajazzfest, on Monday (18/12) evening, along with the announcement of the first phase line-up.
Icelandic-Chinese jazz soloist Laufey has been confirmed as one of the headliners in the 2024 Java Jazz Festival series. The announcement also included a number of well-known jazz musicians, such as Yussef Dayes, October London, Yakul, and Rai Thistlethwayte.
Laufey, who will perform at the Special Show stage, is expected to amaze the fans with her anticipated performance, especially after releasing her latest album entitled “Bewitched” last September. Laufey’s Special Show is scheduled for the second day, Saturday, May 25th, 2024.
Laufey's presence at the Java Jazz Festival marks the continuation of his performances in the past two years after becoming a headliner at JJF 2023 along with renowned musicians such as Stephen Sanchez, Giacomo Turra, Kaleb J, and top local musicians.
Tickets to enjoy Laufey's Special Show will be sold separately for IDR 275K and must be purchased with a Daily Pass or 3 Days Pass ticket. The Daily Pass for Friday-Sunday is priced at IDR 675K while the 3 Days Pass is priced at IDR 1.5M
