Semarang December 15 - A container truck loaded with plywood overturned on the Jambu street-Semarang. Head of Traffic Unit AKP Dwi Himawan said that the single accident was thought to have occurred because the container driver with number H 1481 GA, Solikhin (28), did not know the road.
"The first assumption is that because the truck driver could not control the vehicle, the truck eventually overthrown and the container fell to the side of the road," said Dwi in a written statement, Wednesday (14/12/2022), and in this accident there were no casualties, but only losses on the material transported by container trucks.
For this incident, he appealed to road users to remain vigilant about their surroundings and obey traffic signs, especially for large-tonnage vehicles.
He added, "We urge all road users and especially vehicles above the 2nd axis when crossing the scene to be more careful. This is considering the different road surfaces between the left and right sides, so that when a vehicle makes a turn maneuver so as not to causing another accident.”
