Semarang | December 14, 2022 - The Provincial Government of Central Java has succeeded in eradicating corruption, gratuities, and extortion in Central Java through the implementation of the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) system initiated by the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.

MCP is a corruption prevention and supervision system launched by the KPK with 38 indicators in it. The Head of the Grobogan District Inspectorate, Moch Susilo said, the MCP initiated by Ganjar Pranowo won recognition from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

With this human resource development strategy with integrity, Central Java is able to achieve the 2021 Corruption Prevention Index with a score of 94.5. Susilo explained that the warning system initiated by Ganjar was running well.

He said the indicators were a decrease in the number of complaints from the public, good management of goods/services procurement, decreased gratuities/bribes from tender winners, and misuse of budget management which was included in the low scale category.

The Head of the Brebes Regency Inspectorate Nur Ari Haris Yuswanto also admitted that the Pemprov's performance had been outstanding in assisting the regional monitoring system. Nur said that his party often consults regarding the performance and the inspectorate's Annual Supervision Work Program (PKPT) with the Central Java Provincial Government.

Nur also added that the Governor of Central Java's strong commitment to inviting all OPDs to make a statement of war against all forms of gratification deserves appreciation.

This is evidenced by Central Java's success in becoming the overall champion in managing State Officials' Wealth Reports (LHKPN) and the best gratification control from the KPK in 2020. And in 2019, the Ministry of Home Affairs also announced Central Java as the region with the best predicate in supervising corruption prevention.
