Semarang | November 30, 2022 - The proud athlete of Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) has again made achievements at the national level event, namely the XVII National Student Sports Week (Pomnas) in Padang.
Udinus athletes managed to bring home 10 medals consisting of 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals from various sports, namely Taekwondo, Karate and Rock Climbing at the National Pomnas 2022.
In Taekwondo, they won 3 medals, 2 gold medals were won by Dinda Putri, Shaleha Fitriana and 1 bronze medal was won by Dwita Isriyan.
While in Karate, they won 4 medals, Hera Irnandha was able to win 2 gold medals and Getta Shafada won 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal.
Meanwhile, in the Rock Climbing sport they wom 3 medals, 2 silver medals were won by Berthdigna Devi Surya Kusuma and 1 silver medal was won by Aditya Tri Syahria.
The success obtained by students in the National Pomnas 2022 cannot be separated from the role and unlimited support from all Udinus academics. Apart from carrying the name of the alma mater, it is also a matter of pride for students because they can represent the Central Java contingent in matches on the national level.
Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. Kusni Ingsih, M.M., congratulated the 10 medals won by Udinus student athletes. Full support is always given by all Udinus academics for their athletes who compete in various events.
