Semarang | November 29, 2022 - Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) continues to strive to improve services by presenting new features In Application of ‘Si Anteng’. After implementing non-cash payments via QRIS, now the inter-agglomeration bus service links AstraPay services to the ‘Si Anteng’ application.
Head of the Central Java Transportation Agency, Joko Setyawan, said that the addition of the non-cash payment option was made to intensify cashless transactions. Counting from the number of passengers which reached 5,736,419 people (January-November 24, 2022) only 1.45% chose non-cash payments.
The use of AstraPay as a non-cash payment option is connected to the Trans Jateng Service System (SiAnteng) application. Thus, prospective customers can purchase electronic tickets, three days before departure.
Another advantage that users get is that there is a cashback promo of up to 100% provided by AstraPay, from December 1, to February 28, 2023. Then non-cash payments make it easier for users and avoid human error.
Going forward, non-cash payment options will also be added by implementing electronic card touch services.
Therefore, the BRT continues to intensify socialization. Through a variety of cashless payment methods, the slogan "Happy with Trans Jateng" can be achieved.
