Semarang | 25 November 2022 - Faculty of Cultural Studies (FIB) Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus) Semarang, launched the Udinus Creative Campus Borobudur Homestay Information System application (Simbok-Ku) through the 2022 matching funds shop program.
Simbok-Ku application Answers various problems of homestay management partners in modern times in the Candirejo village area, Kab. Magelang. The launch of this application took place at Balai Mijin and was attended by the entire team proposing the tavern.
The activity was also witnessed directly by the Magelang Tourism Office, Borobudur sub-district head, and also the people of Candirejo village, Kec. Borobudur, Kab. Magelang.
Team leader, Dr. Emik Rahayu M.Par., explained that the applications in his research ranged from marketing to homestay payments, all of which can be accessed online. The website and android-based application also provide a reporting feature that can be used by homestay owners. Simbok-KU is also the result of collaboration with partner PT Wimbo.
The launch of the application was inaugurated directly by the Dean of FIB Udinus through the Deputy Dean of FIB Udinus Dr. dr. Sri Mulatsih, M.Pd., marked by striking the gong. In his remarks, he hoped that the homestay manager in the village of Candirejo, in the City of a Million Flowers, could make maximum use of the application.
The tavern research doesn't just stop at the launch. In the future, we will direct our entire team to provide training to all homestay managers. The training will also be supported by FIB Udinus students.
