Semarang City Government Add 1800 Doses Of Vacine

Semarang | October 19, 2022 - The Semarang City Government is waiting for additional delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Ministry of Health to fullfil the needs of vaccination services in the Capital of Central Java Province.

Abdul Hakam as the Head of the Semarang City Health Office revealed that Semarang City Government had just received a supply of 1,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the Pemalang Regency Government.

Abdul Hakam said that the delivery of 1,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from Pemalang would be used to provide vaccination services for two days.

He also said that Semarang City still needed additional vaccine supplies to complete the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination to all targets. According to the Ministry of Health, 1,454,416 people are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination in the city of Semarang.

The first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccination reached 113.94% and 104.24%, respectively, of the Semarang vaccination target. Meanwhile, according to Abdul Hakam, the third dose of vaccination or the first booster dose only covered 65.25 percent of the vaccination target.
