Semarang | October 18, 2022 - Police Can Now Ticket From The Air Using Drones The Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system will continue to be improved.
Like what Polda Jateng did, which will conduct a trial of ticketing using unmanned aircraft or drones amid the 2022 Candi Zebra Operation.
Polda Jateng are also working with the Indonesian Drone Pilots Association to train officers in flying drones. ETLE drones are considered to be able to make it easier for the police to monitor traffic violators.
According to Kombes Pol Agus Suryo Nugroho Polda Jateng Dirlantas, drone trials are currently being tested before being launched nationally.
"We have collaborated with the Indonesian Drone Pilot Association to capture violations using drones. Hopefully, with this technology, we hope that the people of Central Java will not have to be prosecuted, without the police, they will be able to order traffic," said Agus quoted from the NTMC Police, Friday (14/10/2022).
The mechanism and standard operating procedures for taking action against mobile ETLE with this drone, it is the same as for static ETLE, namely the image of the violation that has been taken by the officer will be sent to the back office at the Polres or Polda.
