Semarang | 14 September 2022 -Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) Semarang has successfully entered the category of the sixth Best University in Central Java according to the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) in 2022.
The Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) is a classification of research-related academic institutions measured by composite indicators and web visibility. SIR established since 2009 has published an international ranking of research institutions around the world namely SIR World Report.
The achievement consists of three sources with different assessment indicators, it is used to rank universities around the world, namely research (50 percent), innovation (30 percent), and community (20 percent).
For the research category, some of the assessments include the number of journals, international collaboration, openness of access, High Quality Publications (Q1), and the number of quality publications that get a lot of public citation.
As for the Innovation category, the assessment includes: the number of publications cited in patents and the number of patent applications generated, while for the Social Impact category, the assessment includes the number of ‘mentions’ of publications on various social media platforms and the number of visits to institutional websites.
Of course, this proves that Udinus has the right to be an advanced campus that is able to utilize technology, and has a good position at the national and international levels. Udinus will continue to move in developing various innovations that can help the community and continue to increase the number of lecturers ' research.
