Semarang | 13 September 2022 - Mayor Of Semarang, Dr. Hendrar Prihadi, S.E., M.M. recently inaugurated the event entitled Oude Stad Landbouwmarkt, will take place on a weekly basis in the Old Town area of Semarang. The event was the initiation of the Semarang City Agriculture Office.
Oude Stad Landbouwmarkt itself is a bazaar that presents some culinary products from processed urban farming and organic ingredients. The products in this bazaar and exhibition of urban farming products are classified into several clusters for each product category.
This event will be held starting on September 11, 2022 and the next will take place every Sunday at Jl. Kedasih Kota Lama area every 06.00-12.00 WIB.
The course of this activity received full support from various parties, one of which is from Bank Rakyat Indonesia or commonly known as Bank BRI. BRI supports MSMEs through CSR programs.
BRI continuously organizes training with the millennial generation, BRI's Support in the Oude Stad Landbouwmarkt program is one of the tangible manifestations of support to the government to realize a greater Semarang city.
Oude Stad Landbouwmarkt means Old Town Agricultural Market taken from the Dutch language. This activity is very interesting, in the middle of the vastness of Semarang, Semarang city has 5% of agricultural land that must be used for sale, one of which is in the Old City.
In the future, in the region there will be MSMEs engaged in culinary. This is done so that UMKM in the city of Semarang can move up the class.
