Semarang | 6 September 2022 – The Wonosobo Tourism and Culture Office (Dipartabud) has just held an event with the title Java Balloon Attraction (JBA) 2022 on Sunday, 04 September 2022 at the Kalianget Recreation Park Complex.
In this activity, yesterday the Department of Tourism and Culture (Dipartabud) collaborated with the Traditional Balloon Community, there were at least 28 traditional hot air balloons that adorn the clear sky of Wonosobo packaged in a collaboration concept with mask dance art and attractions in several formations.
In this year's event, it was explained that the 28 traditional balloons on display were the 25 best balloons from the Wonosobo Regent's Cup Balloon Festival. Among them are 3 special balloons presented by the Central Java Bank, Salahuddin Uno from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
Not only that, the balloon show is also collaborated with the traditional art performance of the Lengger Mask Dance which has become an intangible cultural heritage of the archipelago from Wonosobo, the collaboration of the Lengger Mask Dance performance will accompany the balloons while they are tethered.
Not to be missed, of course, this activity is also enlivened by the presence of culinary and souvenir booths which will certainly serve Wonosobo food and snacks such as Kalon T-shirts and Wonosobo T-shirts. This activity will certainly strengthen the traditional hot air balloon branding as an icon of Wonosobo.
