Released on December 17, 2025, this film explores a new threat on Pandora: the Ash Tribe, a ruthless and power-hungry Na'vi tribe led by Varang (Oona Chaplin). Jake's family must fight for their survival and the future of Pandora in a conflict that pushes them to their emotional and physical limits.
In Avatar: The Way of Water, Neteyam is a character with a warrior's spirit. His death brings immense grief to Jake and Sully's family. Not only is he a supporting character, but Neteyam's sacrifice makes the family realize that they don't need to run away, but rather to hold on for their new home in the third Avatar film.
Furthermore, while in Avatar: The Way of Water, Neteyam's brother, Lo'ak, was only a shadow. In this latest sequel, he becomes a figure ready to protect the family and take over his brother's role.
