Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) officially back as a Perguruan Tinggi Pelaksana (PTP) in the program of Wirausaha Merdeka Kampus (WMK) 2024. In this year, Udinus accepted 316 participants from 20 colleges in Semarang and surrounding areas, who attended the soft launching held on Monday (23/09/2024).
The event, which took place in Building E, 3rd floor of Udinus, was the first step that must be followed by all participants. It was opened with a report from the Chief Committee of WMK Udinus, Dr. Rindra Yusianto, S.Kom., M.T.
Udinus as PTP was supported by Field Assistant Lecturer (DPL) which will lead the participants in coming up with their ideas. He said that the target is 63 sustainable businesses.
Dr. Rindra also revealed that every year there is always an increase in the number of participants. The enthusiasm can be seen from the initial quota of 300 people who have been filled, more than the quota.
The soft launching was continued with material from the organizing team that explained the technicalities and the division of groups and facilitators. As well as a public lecture from Udinus Vice Rector IV for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Pulung Nurtantio Andono, S.T., M.Kom., and Udinus Communication Science Alumni and Invitato business owner, Dinda Saraswati Dipoyono.
