The team leader of Liquid Smoked Milkfish ( _Bandeng Asap Cair_ ), Magumi Avrora Iftita, said that the achievement was very proud because it competed among thousands of participants from all over Indonesia. "Of course we have tried our best and are happy to be able to bring our product to a higher level so that it is known to more people," she explained.
From almost 5000 proposals submitted, only 100 proposals made it to the final stage at the event organized by Universitas Jambi. Magumi explained that the preparation for the EA final was very challenging, especially because of the limited time.
Other than participating in the competition, the team also used the opportunity to expand their product market outside Java. Considering that the event was held outside Java in Jambi, the team saw great potential there.
Targeted to introduce their product in various entrepreneurship competitions outside Java, they hopes to continue to innovate and have a positive impact on MSMEs in the processed food sector in Indonesia.
The team consists of five students, Angeline Dayatri W.D, Joseph Lampa Tuerah, Magumi Avrora Iftita, Mohammad Bakhrudin, and Nila Mismaidah. They are not only competing to win, but also expanding their network and branding their product to be more widely recognized.
