TROUGH SMART ARGO-TOURISM, UDINUS ABDIMAS TEAM INCREASES THE INCOME OF WIDOSIGER FISHERMEN

At the event held at Erorejo Village Hall, some time ago, Dr. Rindra Yusianto explained that this production equipment assistance is part of the results of his team's research and service to support the improvement of the welfare of the fostered village community.

Rindra explained that the fishing stall that was handed over was the result of his team's research and innovation. It was designed based on the needs of the local community and the natural potential of the village.

In addition, Rindra said that the fisherman group also received training in Windusari robusta coffee processing and palm sugar production, which is a leading commodity in the area. This training aims to encourage fishermen to develop local businesses and contribute positively to the village economy.

The program also involved six students from various faculties in Udinus, as the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Businesses, Faculty of Health, and Faculty of Computer Science. The students consist of Fadia Zulfa Kanaya, Dimas Permadi, Tatagh Herawan Santoso, Wifaqul Azmi Al Khoida, Bagas Kara, and Faiz Afrizal Adisaputra participated in the program through the _Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka_ (MBKM) scheme.

These students received course recognition relevant to this service program. Fadia Zulfa Kanaya, one of the students participating in the program, expressed her experience while being involved in this activity. With the solid collaboration between the university, students, and the community, it is hoped that this program can be a real example of how academic innovation can have a direct impact on the welfare of the community.

The head of Erorejo Village, Wagino, appreciated the steps taken by the Udinus community service team.he stated that the production equipment assistance and training provided had a significant impact on increasing fishermen's income.

The income of fishermen increased significantly, on average by 1,7 to 2 million per month. Wagino also hopes that this activity will continue in the future. Wagino said it was a very positive change and very grateful for the support for Udinus.

This activity is sponsored by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, under the Directorate General of Research and Development of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This program aims to support the economic independence of the Erorejo Village society through the implementation of the RJMDes that focus on local economic empowerment.
