The movie Tebusan Dosa tells about Wening, a mother that lost her daughter, Nirmala, in a tragic accident. Wening can not accept the fact that her 11 year-old daughter suddenly disappeared mysteriously after the accident.
She tried various ways to find Nirmala, but all her efforts failed. Almost desperate, Wening enlists the help of Tetsuya, a Japanese researcher. However, instead of finding clues about Nirmala, Wening is haunted by the spirit of her mother.
