It’s been a tradition for Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) to hold a Gratitude Celebration (Tasyakuran) with cutting of tumpeng. This event was attended by stakeholders, lecturers and activists from Udinus Student Organizations. It takes place at building G floor 1 Udinus on Tuesday (17/09/2024).
The once-a-year moment was marked by the cutting of tumpeng and symbolic handover by the Chairperson of Dian Nuswantoro Foundation, Tri Rustanti, S.E., M.M., alongside Rector of Udinus, Prof. Dr. Ir. Edi Noersasongko, M.Kom., to Udinus' newest family member, Dean of Udinus Faculty of Medicine (FK), Dr. dr. Hendriani Selina, Sp.A.(K), as well as President of Udinus Student Executive Board (BEM KM), Falih Patria Fatahilah.
The Rector of Udinus explained that the activity, which was held in a simple manner, was a form of gratitude for the acceptance of 3.657 new students. The event also marked the start of the first in-person lecture.
Prof. Edi also thanked the community for their trust in Udinus, and will educate students to be smarter and more knowledgeable. “This activity is the beginning of the students starting the first lecture, this should be grateful for the community's trust in Udinus. We also invite student representatives as a form of learning to continue to be grateful,” he said.
As a representative of all the Udinus’s students, the Presidents of BEM KM, Falih Patria Fatahilah, also welcomed the Inaugural Lecture Gratitude Celebration. This event is a good start for activists and new students in their first lecture.
“Through this event we all hope for the success of our daily lectures. It is a special motivation for students to be able to adapt quickly in a new environment.” He closed.
The Inaugural Lecture Gratitude Celebration is a form of gratitude because this year Udinus received new students from various provinces in Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke. According to Falih Patria Fatahilah, this year’s achievement is very proud and he hopes that Udinus will be more successful.
