The Story of the Shadow Strays focused on the character of 13 (Aurora Riberi), a teenage girl who is also a professional murderer. She was raised since childhood by her mentor, Umbra (Hana Malasan). One day, 13 was sent on a mission in Japan to take the life of a mafia boss. However, the mission did not go as well as planned.
That failure led to 13 being punished by the organization he belonged to, called The Shadow. 13 didn't get any new missions for weeks, so she just stuck into her room. 13 later met with a boy whose name is Monji (Ali Fikry). He is 13’s neighbor in the flat. Monji suffers a terrible fate when his mother is murdered and he is kidnapped by a gang of criminals.
Some of the criminals involved include Ariel (Andri Mashadi), Prasetyo (Adipati Dolken), and Haga (Agra Piliang). Due to her friendship with Monji, 13 now has a personal mission to help Monji. She started an act of revenge against the people who hurt Monji.
