Faculty of Medicine Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (FK Udinus) held a talent show on the last day of Dinus Inside on Wednesday, 11 September 2024. Labeled as ‘FK Got Talent’, this event was held to showcase the new student’s hidden talents, taking place at the yard of Building K Udinus.
The event was organized in groups, with the order of performances based on a predetermined draw. This year, there were five groups participating, each with one featured performance. The judges for the event were lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine, who enthusiastically witnessed the abilities of the new students.
Alya Rahmadina, person in charge of the FK Got Talent, revealed that the purpose of the activity was to provide space for new students to be more courageous in showing their abilities.
Not only a talent show, this event was also enlivened by the distribution of prizes in various categories. Among them are Best Boy or Girl, Elected Level Coordinator, Twibbon, Doorprize, Quiz, Introductory Video, and of course the award for FK Got Talent.
Alya also shared the obstacles that participants had to face during the preparation and execution of the event. She described the limited number of organizers as one of the main obstacles. These numbers also handled the Dinus Inside event, especially in FK for three days.
Closing the interview, Alya said that the spirit of the new students was very high, especially on the first and third days. "They were very enthusiastic from the first day, although on the second day they might be a bit tired because the material was quite dense," she explained.
The FK Got Talent event is expected to become an annual agenda that can continue to provide opportunities for new students to explore and showcase their talents to the public.
For information, Dinus Inside is an orientation activity for the new students of Udinus which this year was attended by 3.567 students. The activity, which took place for three days on Monday-Wednesday, September 9-11, 2024, aims to introduce the learning system and various important aspects of the campus environment.
